How to verify the clinician and facility before you pay a deposit.

Start with identity, not reviews. Ask for the treating clinician's full legal name, specialty and the legal name of the facility where the procedure will occur.

Verify the professional

Use official Colombian professional-registration resources and the relevant specialty organization where appropriate. Confirm that the person you researched is the person expected to treat you.

Verify the facility separately

A surgeon's credentials and a facility's authorization are different questions. Ask exactly where the procedure is scheduled and what legal entity operates that location.

Get the clinical chain of responsibility

Ask who performs the procedure, who provides anesthesia if applicable, who covers after-hours concerns, and who sees you during follow-up.

Do not treat marketing labels as proof

Words such as “international,” “premium,” or “accredited” should lead to a request for the exact credential and issuing organization, not end the verification process.

Compare provider conversations

Use the structured request if you want introductions to participating providers. This site does not determine candidacy or recommend treatment.
